Terms of Use

These terms govern use of the public CompatBeacon information site. Product, checkout and subscription terms will be shown separately before any future purchase.

Last updated: 31 August 2026Operated from Thailand

1. Current service status

CompatBeacon provides information about planned OpenAPI compatibility monitoring for software teams using GitHub. The project is in private validation. The website does not offer checkout, create a customer account, grant an entitlement or accept payment.

The displayed Free, Validation Pass, Solo and Studio prices are hypotheses and may change before sales open. They are not a discount, time-limited promotion or evidence of market validation.

2. Permitted website use

You may view and share links to this public business information for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass security controls, impersonate CompatBeacon, misrepresent the current service status or use the name/content in a way that suggests endorsement.

3. Product boundary

CompatBeacon is designed to identify OpenAPI contract changes within a published, corpus-tested subset. Current admitted version strings are OpenAPI `3.0.0` through `3.0.4` and `3.1.0` through `3.1.2`, only for tested constructs and rules. OpenAPI 3.2 and unlisted versions or constructs are not supported.

The service does not certify runtime compatibility, security, regulatory compliance, legal compliance or the absence of every breaking change. An output reflects the deterministic rules, configuration and supported input boundary identified with that run. Optional explanatory text is advisory and cannot change pass or fail.

4. Customer responsibility

Software teams remain responsible for reviewing changes, tests, deployments, security, legal obligations and production behavior. A compatibility result is one engineering signal and does not replace integration, security or operational testing.

5. Content and intellectual property

CompatBeacon names, visual identity and website content are reserved except where a separate software or third-party license applies. OpenAPI, GitHub, Stripe and Cloudflare names belong to their respective owners; references describe compatibility or service architecture and do not imply sponsorship.

6. Website availability and liability

The information site is provided on an as-available basis during private validation. We may correct or withdraw inaccurate content. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, no website statement creates a warranty of uninterrupted availability, universal compatibility or future feature delivery. Mandatory consumer or statutory rights are not excluded.

7. Related policies and contact

Read the Privacy Notice, Refund and Dispute Policy and Cancellation Policy. Questions can be sent to support@compatbeacon.com. Final paid-service terms, governing-law details and applicable tax information must be accepted and displayed before paid selling begins.
